Koita Foundation & NABH: Partnership Focus
Koita Foundation is supporting NABH in multiple digital health initiatives:
Koita Foundation: NABH Digital Health Standards for Hospitals
September 2024 - The first 100 hospitals were awarded the NABH Digital Health certification, based on the NABH Digital Health Standards launched in September 2023. The standards help hospitals define their digital health roadmap, and empower and encourage hospitals leverage digital health for enhanced patient care. The standards also help hospitals adopt ABDM platform for healthcare interoperability. Koita Foundation is proud to support NABH in the development and roll-out of these standards.
NABH Launches Standards for HIS and EMR Systems September 2024
Koita Foundation supported NABH in releasing 1st Edition of NABH certification Standards for HIS and EMR Systems on the 17th of September 2024. Aligned with NABH Core Hospital Standards as well as global best practices, these standards create consistent and interoperable digital health infrastructure in India. With these standards in place, digital health solutions will become more standardised, reliable, leading to a stronger, more connected healthcare system across the country.
KCDO - NCG - NABH Partnership
The Koita Center for Digital Oncology (KCDO) signed an MOU with National Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Healthcare (NABH) and the National Cancer Grid (NCG) in January 2023 for the active cooperation and collaboration on digital health initiatives focusing on cancer care.
Koita Foundation: Digital Health Foundation Course for NABH
The Koita Foundation and NABH have launched an innovative initiative to strengthen healthcare standards and practices across India. Together, they have developed leading-edge digital health courses as part of the Digital Health Foundation Course (DHFC). This course is set to elevate the quality, efficiency, and patient-centricity of healthcare services nationwide. It is designed to equip healthcare providers with the necessary skills and knowledge regarding digital health technologies and initiatives. The significance of this collaboration is underscored by the recent introduction of NABH's 1st edition digital health standards and its associated training program for hospitals. This timely initiative ensures that hospitals are not only well-versed in but also fully compliant with these new standards, guaranteeing high-quality care and patient safety at every turn.
